1)Above a dining table: Hang the bottom of the fixture 75–90 cm (30–36") above the tabletop; 80 cm (32") is optimal. 2)In walkways/living rooms: The bottom of the fixture should be at least 210 cm (7 ft) from the floor to avoid head bumps. 3)Low ceilings (<2.7 m / 9 ft): We recommend semi-flush mount styles or fixtures with a drop shorter than 30 cm. 4)Standard ceilings (2.7–3 m / 9–10 ft): This chandelier installs normally; suspension cables are adjustable. 5)High/vaulted ceilings (>5 m / 16 ft): Custom extended cables are available—please contact our support team.
