At INS Home Decor, your satisfaction is our priority. However, due to the nature of our products (large, fragile items, and customized lighting), we have a specific return policy to ensure clarity and fairness. Please read carefully before making a purchase.
To be eligible for a return
1. The item must be unused, in its original condition, and in the original packaging.
2. All accessories, manuals, and tags must be included.
3. All items must be returned in their original packaging.
4. You must provide proof of purchase (order number).
5. Items returned within 30 days will be eligible for a refund back to the original method of payment.
Our return policy does not cover
For hygiene, safety, and customization reasons, the following items CANNOT be returned:
- Customized or Personalized Orders: Lights made to specific sizes, colors, or voltages.
- Clearance or Sale Items: All discounted final-sale items are non-refundable.
- Installed Items: Once a light fixture has been installed or hardwired, it cannot be returned due to safety regulations.
- Gift Cards.

Additional Policies
Damaged or Defective Items (We Cover This!)
We take full responsibility for items damaged during shipping or manufacturer defects.
- If you receive a broken or defective item, please contact us immediately within 48 hours of delivery.
- Please provide clear photos or videos showing the damage and the outer packaging.
- We will offer a free replacement or a full refund at no cost to you.
Return Shipping Costs
- If the return is due to our error (wrong item sent, defective, damaged): We will cover all return shipping costs.
- If the return is due to buyer’s remorse (changed mind, doesn't fit, etc.): The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs. Return shipping fees will be deducted from your refund amount.
How to Initiate a Return
To start a return, please email our support team at inshomedecor@inshomedecor.com with the subject line "Return Request - [Order Number]".
Once your request is approved, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
- If approved, your refund will be processed to your original method of payment within 7-10 business days.
Exchanges
We do not accept exchanges unless they are damaged/broken. If there are damages to the fixtures, please reach out to us, and we will help replace any damaged parts or the fixture based on the situation. The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refund due to items not received
If you have not received your package within 60 business days (excluding Custom Products or specific shipping methods agreed upon at checkout), please email us to request a full refund.
Incorrect Address Disclaimer:
INS Home Decor is not responsible for replacing or refunding orders due to incorrect shipping addresses provided by the customer. If a package is returned to us due to an address error, the cost to resend the package will be borne by the customer.
